The amount of people talking on their phones while driving is ridiculous! If the city of Missoula tried they could easily ticket 1000 people in just 1 day $100 each for not using a hands free device and talking on their phones while driving. Almost everyone I see has out of state plates from California and Washington and are in expensive vehicles. So....the people that are violating the Missoula ordinance can easily pay $100. If they care nothing about this law and the safety of Missoula residents, what other laws are these drivers breaking. I have seen many of these drivers not have a seat belt on as well....more money for the city of Missoula. All the cameras at the intersections work and can be used to catch these people....distracted driving is just as dangerous as drunk driving. How many accidents or deaths because of the actions of these rich migrants from other states does it take before the city of Missoula takes action?
