Madonna University Women's Soccer - Recruiting event for High School age players graduating in 2022 or later. HOW DOES THIS PROSPECT DAY DIFFER FROM OTHER PROSPECT DAYS? We don’t use our prospect day as a money making opportunity for our program. Other programs use prospect days as a fundraiser. If you've been directly invited to our prospect day by our coaches, we have identified you as a possible recruit for our program and want to see more of you. We keep our cost low so that we can see you play and you can see what Madonna has to offer, not so we can make money and never see you again. WHY SHOULD I ATTEND? Attending allows us to see what you're like as a player and person first hand. You get to run through our drills, scrimmage in our setting, and meet current team members. Our staff has identified you outside of campus or you have shown interest in us, so now we want to invite you to join one of our practices on campus. We want to learn more about you and we want you to have a chance to meet us and check out the school and the program. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know one another and for you to take the opportunity to tour our school. WHAT IF I'M COMING FROM OUT OF STATE? There's much to do within a half hour of our campus. We're located in Metro Detroit, with towns, lakes, and events happening all the time. We're confident that you can have a great time in the area whether you're here for just the day or stay for the whole weekend. Feel free to contact us if you need recommendations of things to do! ________________________________________ TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: 8:30am – 9:00 am Check-in at the main entrance of the Livonia Athletic District 14255 Stark Rd, Livonia, MI 48154 12:00 – 9:10 am Opening remarks 9:10 – 11:00 am On-field training session (inside at Livonia Athletic District) 9:10-9:35 Warm-up and technical exercises 9:40-10:25 Training exercises (1v1’s / 2v2’s, possession, goalkeeping, finishing) 10:30-11:00 Small sided games 11:00 – 11:15 am Travel to campus 11:15 – 11:30 am Recruiting seminar 11:30 – 12:00 pm Information about admissions, academics, and financial aid 12:00 – 12:45 pm Campus tour 12:45 – 1:15 pm Q&A with players and coaches 1:15 pm Closing remarks *Players/parents are welcome to stay after and talk more with the coaching staff ________________________________________ WHAT TO BRING: Molded Cleats, Sneakers, and/or Turf Shoe Soccer Gear Shin Guards Water Bottle ________________________________________ ALL CAMPERS WILL RECEIVE: T-Shirt Supervision from on-site trainer Collegiate instruction from MU players and coaches ________________________________________ COST: $40/player ________________________________________ FAQ's • Weather conditions will not be an issue since we will be training inside at Livonia Athletic District located at 14255 Stark Rd, Livonia, MI 48154, just 1 mile from campus. • Refunds will not be provided due to personal scheduling conflicts. • Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the informational portions and the campus tour. • Players/parents are welcome to film during the scrimmage portion of the day. • Players will be asked to sign a medical waiver form and submit it at check-in to participate. • For all other questions and concerns contact Head Coach Paul Patton • Email: [email protected] • Phone: 734.432.5882 Head Women's Soccer Coach Madonna University
