BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The Baltimore beltway was shut down Tuesday afternoon near Greenspring Avenue due to a multi-vehicle crash on the inner loop, according to authorities.
Two people were hospitalized as a result of the crash, which involved a tractor-trailer and other vehicles, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
At 3:53 p.m., crews were dispatched to the crash on I-695 between the exits for Stevenson Road and Greenspring Avenue, officials said.
As of 4:45 p.m., all lanes remained closed.
By 5:45 p.m., the left lane had reopened.
Before 6:15 p.m., officials said the all lanes were clear.
