LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A Peeping Tom was reported in Sterling on Sunday evening and a pedestrian was hit by a car on Monday morning, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. These are among the several incidents compiled in Monday's report from the sheriff's office. The Peeping Tom incident occurred in the 21100 block of Huntington Square in Sterling. Authorities responded to the home around 9 p.m. on Sunday evening. Neighbors in the area reported seeing a man looking into the complainant's window, police said. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s who is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white pants, and black tennis shoes. On Monday morning in Sterling, authorities received a report of a pedestrian struck by a car. The incident occurred just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Broad Run Drive and Winding Drive. The pedestrian, who police only identified as a juvenile, was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The driver was issued a citation for "failure to pay full-time attention," the sheriff's office said. "Upon arrival, deputies learned that a patron had assaulted two employees of the establishment," the sheriff's office wrote in the report. "As deputies were taking the patron into custody, she resisted and assaulted a deputy." The patron, who police identified as a 30-year-old woman from Leesburg, is charged with two counts of assault and one count of assault on law enforcement.
