(CLINTON, CT) - Local historian, author, and retired Guilford High School teacher, Jim powers, will lead a lecture this Wednesday, October 20 at 7:00 PM. As part of Shoreline Adult Education's lecture series, "The Siege and Battles at Saybrook Fort during the Pequot War, 1636-37" explores the seven month siege of a small English garrison in their hurriedly built fort on Saybrook Point during the Pequot War. The lecture will be held in the Munger Barn at The Dudley Farm Museum located at 2351 Durham Road in North Guilford. Advanced registration is required.
