Interesting article on the front page of the herald on Sunday. They were quoting the Lummi news release that climate change caused thousands of Chinook to die off due to high water temps and low flow. Isn't the Chinook spawning season from mid- August through October. Weren't the salmon doing what they have been doing since their existence. They swim up stream, spawn, and die. I was surprised that 2500 - who counted? made it up stream for how aggressively the mouth of the Nooksack is netted.
