San Diego County health officials reported 528 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths Sunday.
The new data brought the county's case totals to 364,634 since the pandemic began in early 2020. The death toll remained at 4,163.
Seven new patients needed to be admitted to local hospitals for COVID treatment. One additional patient needed intensive care.
Statewide, officials reported 6,188 new cases and 140 deaths Sunday. California's has recorded a total of 4.57 million cases and 70,150 deaths.
Nationally, there have been almost 45 million cases of COVID-19 and 724,317 deaths, according to the Johns Hopkins University COVID Resource Center.
