CONCORD, NH — Four new free coronavirus testing sites have been setup to assist underserved communities in New Hampshire. ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care is now offering COVID-19 tests at popup sites at the River Valley Community College at College Place in Claremont; at the park across the street from the JFK Colosseum, 303 Beech St. in Manchester (this site is not a drive-up testing site; the testing will be done at the Hunt Memorial Pool on Maple Street; and at the Fox Run Mall on Fox Run Road in Newington. A fourth site — at St. Joseph's Hospital parking lot, 261 Lake St. in Nashua, will open on Wednesday. Testing is being offered free by funds provided by the state — no insurance or funds are needed. It is open to anyone, whether they are exhibited symptoms or not. Results will be emailed within 48 hours. "We are proud to work with the dtate of New Hampshire to provide this important service to our community," Joseph E. Sicard, PA-C, the director of Clinical Operations at ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care, said. "It is important for people to have access to convenient testing options, regardless of where they live. Former U.S. Representative Dies Former U.S. Rep. Bill Zeliff, a North Country Republican, died on Monday, according to reports online. He was 85. Zeliff was born in New Jersey and grew up in Connecticut. He served in the National Guard and U.S. Army. He moved to New Hampshire in the 1970s, owned an inn in Jackson and worked in sales, and ran unsuccessful for the state Senate in 1984. Zeliff served three terms in the U.S. House in the 1990s. He decided not to run for re-election in 1996 and, instead, ran for the Republican nomination for governor but was bested by Ovide Lamontagne. Zeliff lived in both Jackson and Venice, Florida. Gov. Chris Sununu said his thoughts were with his family during this difficult time. "Congressman Bill Zeliff was a dear friend," he said. "He was a true public servant, always had a smile, and was a tireless advocate for the Granite State and our Live Free or Die Spirit. Our thoughts are with Sydna and the family — he will be missed." Jobs For Everyone In The 603 A new study shows that New Hampshire has enough jobs to employee every resident of the state. In fact, there are 1.6 unfilled jobs for every unemployed person in the Granite State, according to the study. CareerCloud released the study which listed New Hampshire as third on the nation's list for labor shortages. The company used data from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics as well as job listing services like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and CareerBuilder from August through October.
