Description
I recently have adopted this sweet 1 year old boy, Frankie and have realized that our personalities don't match. He needs a home where he can be someones shadow. He wants to be with his owner at all times and needs someone who is okay with that. Frankie has a big personality and likes to be the center of attention. Frankies requirements: A large yard, he gets the zoomies NO APARTMENTS Absolutely no other cats or dogs. He does not do well when other dogs receive praise and he doesn't He needs at least 2 walks a day. I have been doing 2 plus a short hike in the evenings Frankies Personality: He is a very sweet boy spends 90% of the day at my feet while I work He likes to chew on things, mostly toys but he definitely needs to learn what is okay and not okay to chew He is a bit stubborn, he will want to sit on your couch or sleep on your bed He loves walks Short attention span, I have a lot of toys for him, he will really love to play for about 10 minutes and want to do something else Doesn't like to be crated, I have been working on crate training but haven't gotten far He knows basic commands, "Sit" "Lay down" "Come here" (doesn't always listen to that last one, like I said a bit stubborn) Ideal owner for Frankie Someone who works from home who has a lot of energy for walks. And a lot of time to spend with him/train him. But mainly someone who wants a shadow and is okay with consent cuddles on couches and in bed. I am asking for a rehoming fee of $500 for him and all of his supplies. He comes with an XL crate, bed, harness, leash, collar, multiple bags of treats, a bag of dog food and all of his toys. He has all of his shots (with paperwork) and has been microchipped. When he was in the humane society they told me he was able to jump a 6ft fence so they informed me to not leave him unsupervised in the yards. However, he has not jumped my fence. He also needs to be leash trained around other dogs. He will try to play with every dog he sees and can really pull on his leash if he gets too excited. Also will pull if he sees squirrels or bunnies. The humane society also told me to avoid dog parks, like I said he gets jealous of other dogs if they are given treats. I have not tried going to a dog park. There is a slight vetting process if you are interested, just me asking question to make sure you are a good fit for each other. I really don't want to let him go because he is so sweet but I think he would be much happier with another home. Seven two zero- nine eight seven- seven six four seven
