Delco State Rep Hosting Expungement Clinic Next Month

FOLSOM, PA — A Delaware County state representative is hosting a virtual expungement clinic to help community members learn if criminal record expungement might be an option for them. State Rep. Leanne Krueger will host the event in partnership with Legal Aid of Southeastern PA and NAACP Media Area Branch at 6 p.m. Nov. 9 via Zoom. Attorneys will provide information about criminal record expungement options and resources, and there will be an opportunity for participants to meet individually with an attorney in a private Zoom room. "Even a minor criminal offense can create barriers to employment or housing, making it difficult for individuals to move forward once they've paid their debt to society. I'm pleased to host this event to share information on options that might be available to help them," Krueger, D-Delaware County, said. "I'm grateful to Legal Aid of Southeastern PA and the NAACP Media Area Branch for their help in navigating the process." Registration is required for the event.
