Female Guinea Pigs

Description

Two young guinea pig females looking for the perfect forever home. We were gifted these two as a Christmas gift last year and due to the demands of my job, I do not have the time to give them the love and care they deserve. Rehoming fee includes both cages, both piggies, hay, pellets, lots of treats, grooming supplies, bedding, water bottles, hay bags, accessories in the cage, and potty pads (used to line the bottom of the cages. They are around 11-12 months old and have their own unique personalities. Barbara-Jean (black & white): Is very much laid-back and reserved and a bit on the shy side. She is sassy and fitness is not on her list of priorities but is very food motivated. When there is veggies and fruit available she will perk up and do a little happy dance. Otherwise she prefers to hang out under her hammock and nap or chat with her guinea-sister/neighbor next door. She is passionate about her job as the lead neighborhood captain, and is always on the lookout whenever there is suspicious activity or any activity at all lol. She's an early bird and is most active in the mornings and enjoys a good challenge finding hidden treats around the cage. Petunia (brown & white): Is very much the opposite. It doesn't take much to excite her and she is energetic and bubbly and much of a naive kind of girl. When there is activity in the house, she perks up and will run a few laps around the cage and will find a good spot to find out what's going on. She's very much on the skittish side and startles easily. Generally, she is fun, loving, and playful and does best with routine. We moved her to a larger cage a few months ago and it took her about a month to adjust and get comfortable but otherwise she's a happy camper. She is very much an annoying little sister but frequently checks on Barbara and prefers to be near her most of the time. She is the talkative one of the pair and knows that veggies and fruits are kept in the fridge so when she hears the fridge open, or the sound of plastic bags she wheeks in excitement. These two are happier living as neighbors instead of roommates but there is no doubt that they adore each other. It is not preferable to rehome separately since they have been together since babies and these animals typically do not do well when separated. If you have not been a guinea pig owner, I would highly recommend researching care instructions (see link below). Serious inquiries only.
