First Halloween Walk Planned In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook will hold its first-ever Halloween Walk starting Friday through Halloween on Oct. 31, according to a release from the Village. Residents, nonprofit organizations, businesses and other groups have set up spooky displays along the path behind the town center for everyone to enjoy. The village said the walk is free and open to the public and is located at 375 W. Briarcliff Road in Bolingbrook. Additional events are also planned at the walk including a Senior Citizen Night, Family Safety Day, and more, according to the village. Community groups, residents and businesses who decorated spaces include: Bolingbrook Community Television, Bolingbrook Arts Council, Bolingbrook Garden Club, Bolingbrook High School Music Boosters, Bolingbrook IT Commission, Bolingbrook Park District, Bolingbrook Tee-Ball Association, Camp Fire Illinois Prairie, Civic & Cultural Affairs and Parade Commission, Dance Dimensions Studio & Kinetic Dance Company, Fash Counseling, Girl Scout SU736, Historic Preservation Commission, Hoody Hoods, Kiddie Academy of Bolingbrook, McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Meadowbrook Bolingbrook, Operation Christmas: Bolingbrook, Somerfield Homeowners Association, St. Dominic School, Theatre-on-the-Hill, Brandon King, Ken Teppel, Village of Bolingbrook Fire Department, Village of Bolingbrook Finance Department, Village of Bolingbrook IT Department, Village of Bolingbrook Police Department and Village of Bolingbrook Public Works Department.
