One Injured In Beverly Hills Shooting, Police Search For Suspect

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — One person was sent to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg after shots were fired in Beverly Hills Tuesday night, police said. Police were still searching for a suspect as of 11:25 p.m. Police located one shooting victim after receiving a call of a possible shooting in the 300 block of North Canon Drive Tuesday at 8:45 p.m., according to Beverly Hills police. The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The injuries were not life threatening, the Courier reported. Detectives were on the scene investigating as of 9:55 p.m., police said. A suspect left the scene before police arrived, and police sent out an alert to other departments looking for a silver Infinity, CBS Los Angeles reported. Gunfire was opened outside of Via Alloro, a restaurant located at 301 North Canon Drive, The Beverly Hills Courier reported. The restaurant let diners finish in the restaurant, the Courier reported, but turned away all new customers as of 10:30 p.m. Happening now: Gunfire at Beverly Hills restaurant Via Alloro.
