Tractor-Trailer Wreck On Westbound I-285 Cleared Near Airport

ATLANTA — An 18-wheeler wreck just before the exit of Riverdale Road that had two westbound lanes blocked on I-285 has been cleared, authorities say. Just before 7 a.m., the Georgia Department of Transportation reported the incident just south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Riverdale Road/Georgia Highway 138 exit, which is one of many routes used to access the airport and nearby amenities such as parking and hotels, has reopened.
