ONLY HAS UNTIL 10-22-HELP SAVE A LIFE-READ ENTIRE POST Hi, I'm Jonah (Compatibility with dogs uncertain.) Sadly, I am set to be euthanized 10-22-21 I'm stressing out in the kennel at the shelter, I can no longer tolerate long periods of confinement in this small concrete box! I am mentally breaking down and need to be OUT! It is inhumane to keep me in this condition Can you save my life? My ID is #A4625712. I am a 2-year-old, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier/Mix (wt. 66.7 lbs.). The person that kept me for a day said that I loved people. When first at the shelter, I was nervous but friendly, wanting attention and whining for more when I was put back in my kennel. I get excited and wiggly all over when I see my volunteer friends approach. When I am away from the shelter noise and chaos, I settle into an easy leash walk, am affectionate with people I meet, and lean into petting. I will 'sit' for treats and take them softly. I'm a good boy that just gets overwhelmed Due to the medical status of the shelter population, I haven't had an official dog-dog assessment, so it's uncertain how I might interact with other dogs. That said, the person that had me for a day said I liked dogs. I need to be out of the shelter ASAP and into a home where I can relax and decompress. Children in the home must be 12+, I will be put down 10/22! I am an affectionate boy that could make a loving companion! Can you help me?
