***Great Opportunity with a Growing Company!*** ****$500 Sign on Bonus after 90 Days and $500 Bonus after 6 Months!**** Koala Insulation of the Twin Cities Job Summary – General Laborer/Installer Koala Insulation of Twin Cities West is an insulation contractor providing high-quality insulation services to homeowners, contractors, and property owners. To learn more, visit www.koalainsulation.com. This position will consistently perform high-quality insulation services in attics and crawlspaces. In addition, this role is responsible for identifying and correcting spray foam issues and providing coaching to more junior installers. In time, you will have potential for advancement to crew leader and operations manager. The preferred candidate will be a motivated, skilled individual who is eager to develop and apply their skills in ways to make a positive impact to our communities. Perks: Paid holidays 1 Week Paid Vacation starting 90 days and accrued per pay period Hourly rate + Referral Bonus Work truck provided during business hours Central office location $500 Sign on Bonus after 90 Days and $500 Bonus after 6 Months You Get To: Safety: Adhere to jobsite safety in accordance with all federal, state, and local occupational and health and safety laws. Ensure that rig is safely driven to jobsite locations. Operations: Remove and install insulation based on specifications of each job. Follow standard operation procedures with equipment set up and operation. Complete a high quality job while maintaining efficiency. Have working knowledge of all types of insulation installation (blown-in, spray foam, and battes) and consistently perform quality checks. Technical: Diagnose and resolve issues in the field alongside Crew Leader. Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customer. Maintain a professional image and thoroughly cleans jobsite upon completion of the job. Other: Continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety. Provide instruction and training to junior team members. Communicate any issues to Crew Leader. Perform other related duties as required. About You: You are a driven person with experience in or ability to learn insulation. Excellent time management. Ability to troubleshoot, operate, and maintain equipment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education and Experience: High school diploma/GED required Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or related field preferred. Schedule: Hours are Monday through Friday with start times varying based on workload and scheduling. Ending time will depend on the amount of work given for the day. Some weekend work may be required Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling. Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights. Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently. A DOT physical exam is required prior to start date. Pay Range: $18-22/hour
