This is Roca! Roca is a one and half year old SPAYED, microchipped female cat who is the very unique chocolate color! We adopted her from the Humane Society at eight weeks old, but now need to rehome her. Roca is a very calm, low maintenance cat who loves food and talking to you. Unfortunately, despite many different attempts in many different ways, Roca has been unable to acclimate to the other cats in our household since the sudden passing of the cat she was raised with and will attack other cats spontaneously and completely unprovoked. While she has never injured any of the other cats in our household, her constant harassment of them has made them incredibly anxious and consequently we are looking for a forever home for her where she can be the only kitty around and have all of someone's attention to herself. She loves to play with toys, and (after being introduced properly) is not bothered by polite dogs as she was raised with two cat-friendly pit bulls and a standard poodle. We've spent quite a lot of time looking for alternate housing for her, but everyone we know unfortunately has other cats in their households and would not be a good fit. Roca must go to a calm home without any other cats in the household, and must be a strictly INDOOR only cat. We're asking a rehoming fee of $100 for her safety and trying to avoid her returning to the shelter. She will also come with her collar, toys, and food bowls.
