I waited for you, and waited. And waited. Then you came, except you were a mess. I was angry, at first; then I welcomed you with open love. And some subtle animosity. But i was ready, and there you were. Except, You weren’t. Just your body, a little hollow. And then your body left. Town, that is. Except, how was i to truly know?
When you came back, everything was different. I know i didn;t tell you much of anything—how could i? The last time you just unraveled. And you still did that, this time. Still, I know we deserve to connect. It’s About time, really all id.
Time for us to stick to the plan? Never mind what any of the haters have to say. Hey, it’s a new day! Hair past a freckle, now, and i’m still feelin the same way. I hope i’ll see the day when I find my own way, where the skys have no grey. So go ahead- and let the sun shine on We ;)
