Description
For rehoming: two separate male hamsters in individual cages. I am helping others to rehome them: a large brown hamster (birthdate: 6/10/20), and a miniature grey one (birthday unknown). They each come with a cage, their supplies, and some food and bedding. They are explorers and benefit from regular time to explore outside their cages. Note that they are nocturnal. They have both been handled regularly by both kids and adults in their previous homes.
The large hamster has not bitten to the best of my knowledge and is a speedy explorer, loving to check out new spaces outside his cage.
The small hamster liked to hop up onto his owner's hand when offered treats in his original home, and his owner brought him out of his cage that way to hand to her kid and let explore inside and outside in a small wire pen. She said he has never bitten anybody in her family. He has recently nipped two kids who tried grabbing him directly out of his cage while he was asleep (warning nibbles), potentially due to the stress of having just been woken up grabbed by unfamiliar people in a new environment. He can be picked up by offering a hand with a treat going forward and is friendly once out of the cage. I've handled him several times, picking him up from his cage no problem.
If interested in providing a loving forever home for one of these friendly, curious, explorative hamsters, please reply with information about your household, who would take care of him, and the new home environment he would have if offered to you. There is a small rehoming fee (can be waived with personal and vet references).

They should live alone (not together in a cage with any other hamsters or animals).
