Position Description: Laborer Position Summary/Purpose: Is responsible for laying out product, priming bore holes, stemming and other duties as directed by blaster. Is responsible for loading trucks, offloading products or other duties as directed by dispatch or site supervisor. Dimensions: Interfaces/ Interactions • Position interacts with employees and customers Basic Qualifications: Education • High School Diploma, or equivalent Experience • None Interactive Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Demonstrates general knowledge and aptitude • Responsibility for own actions Technical Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • None Special Requirements: • Must be at least 18 years old • Must have a clean criminal record • Must be able to pass a drug test (zero tolerance, including but not limited to marijuana) • Valid drivers license Essential Functions 1. Responsible for maintaining the grounds and buildings in a clean and safe manner. 2. Loads and unloads all deliveries; truck, rail car, tanker, trailer. 3. Inspects all equipment, vehicles and tools prior to use. 4. Loads bulk trucks and pump trucks from silo. 5. Fuels trucks and performs pre trip inspections 6. Secures yard and equipment at night 7. Actively participates in safety program Additional Duties: • As assigned Physical Requirements: • Work in loud, dusty, hazardous environment • Repetitively lift up to 50 lbs • Work outdoors in all types of weather ** Paid training **Please reply with resume
