I have 2 female chinchilla's that I had got for my daughter's Christmas last year now that it is just me I am unable to take care of them I work 12 hour days 5 to 6 days a week I would like to find them a new loving home they are both rescued from a back yard breeder who severely neglected them they were never handled not given dust baths, treats, fresh vegis, or let out to exercises. It had took a lot of bites,scratches and time for them to let us hold them and for them to start trusting humans again but as of now they will let you hold them they stopped biting and stopped running away and hiding in the corners they do tend to like females more we think is because my daughters handled them more than me but will let either sex hold them they stress out really bad with children under the 8 if you some I would recommend to move slow with them and not alot of time with them handleding them. But they love being held and older one like her tummy being scratched. They no longer bite or run from you. One is 3 years old and other is 2 years old they are not fixed because they are both females plus the vet felt like they stress at that time may be to much for them. They will come with food, treats, chew sticks, bedding, and one giant ball 2 dust baths and any dust I have left over same for the hay. Please text me at 719-4ninefour-94zerozero thank you
