Sutter Home and Hearth is looking for an install assistant. This person will assist one of our lead install technicians with installation of fireplaces and stoves, both gas and wood. The right candidate will enjoy working with their hands, have a strong work ethic, a strong desire to learn and will be able to work well within a team. Sutter Home and Hearth will provide job training for gas plumbing and specialty product installation. This position includes the following: * Full time position * Paid Health Insurance * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays * Retirement Plan The right candidate should also possess the following: * Basic understanding of hand and power tools * Ability to perform heavy lifting * Ability to work from ladders * Ability to work on roofs * Ability to walk up and down steps repeatedly * Ability to kneel, bend, and squat * Good verbal and written communication skills * Valid driver license with clean driving record * High School diploma or equivalent There will be much to learn if you are not familiar with our industry, but we will provide all the necessary training to the right candidate.
