Koda is a 5 1/2 month, 30lb Blue Heeler. He knows basic commands: sit, down, stay, shake, roll over, come, leave it. He’s does great on the leash for hikes and runs, and we are working on learning to heel. He’s mostly potty trained, but occasionally has an accident when he gets overexcited. He has not been neutered or microchipped yet, I was told to wait until closer to 6-7 months. He’s had his first two rounds of puppy shots, and his third round is due soon, he has been dewormed, and has been on flea prevention/heart guard since 8 weeks. He doesn’t do well with younger kids as he is clumsy and doesn’t know how strong he is, but does very well with older children. He’s been to dog parks, pet stores, lakes, hiking/walking trails, and 4+ hour car rides. He does great, especially in the car and he’s very dog/cat friendly. He comes with his food and bowl, his flea and regular collar, chew treats, toys, leash, and brushes. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks and enjoy him so much, but recently my work schedule has changed and he is by himself most of the day. He is a high energy puppy/working breed, so please take that into consideration before considering whether he would be a good fit. He’s super smart, eager to learn, and is such a sweet, happy boy.
