I am looking for a third horse that would be good addition to my small two horse herd on our lovely 13 acre farm in Schwenksville, PA. I'm a 69 year old horse woman, I've had multiple horses most of my life and know them well. To confirm the lovely horse home environment here, please see my farm tour video at: https://vimeo.com/635642229 What I am hopeful to find is a suitable mare or gelding horse I can do easy trail rides 2 to 3 times a week about 40 minutes each. A horse I can ride off the property solo. A horse that respects an electric fence, has good ground manners, good with farrier/vet. Easy to catch and do well in a mixed herd. An older horse (10-20 yrs) that is in good general health, can do easy trail rides, ideally barefoot or front shoes only, that gets along well with other horses and people, and is 15-16 hands ( adult rider size) would be a good fit. I would spend a few thousand dollars, depending on the horse ( of course). What I can tell you is: My farm and knowledgeable quality care is truly horse heaven so if you are looking to re-home a beloved old friend you could not do better.
