Description
Need to "Rehome" immediately, one African Fat Tail Gecko with habitat, (40 gal. glass) plus two other enclosures (7 gal. each) and all the amenities (hiding rocks, wood, heat lamp watering trays & swimming pool) If purchased retail the cost would be over $600
I'm only asking a $100 adoption fee.
I'm disabled and don't have a car, which makes it difficult for me to get to a pet store every few days for his favorite food, crickets. The two smaller glass enclosures are for raising crickets, but I don't have the room, or time to devote to this.
The gecko is very friendly, will climb on your hand to get out, loves your body heat, and has never tried to bite. However, when he sheds his skin he feels most vulnerable and it's a good idea not to cause him undue stress by handling him.
If the post is up, he's available. I never named him because I knew I wouldn't be able to keep him forever. He's a young adult, perhaps 3 or 4 years old I've been told. Fat Tail Geckos are great for beginners, and can live up to 25 years old.
