You will help oversee the daily operations of an indoor RV and boat storage facility. Workday will be split between assisting new and existing customers, office tasks, maintenance and patrolling the property. ***PLEASE NOTE*** This is a resident position, meaning you will be required to live onsite. The COMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES onsite single-tenant housing and utilities (water, gas, electric and internet). Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: - Oversee facility security by regular daily patrols, monitoring surveillance cameras, controlling facility access, observing and responding to any situations that may arise. - Provide outstanding customer service, including in-person, phone and email communications. Respond to all web, voicemails and walk-in inquires in a timely and courteous manner. - Handle storage reservations, U-Haul rentals and miscellaneous merchandise sales including onsite amenities i.e. propane, dump station, water, air compressor and vacuum. - Reviewing and verifying customer records required for storage reservations, pickup and U-Haul rentals. - Assist with parking, moving, storing vehicles i.e. RV's, boats, trailers, toy haulers by way of forklift and/or other moving equipment. Operate gate controls and access codes. - Maintain a clean facility both inside and outside; including warehouse floor upkeep, landscape maintenance, etc. - General management of the office, ordering supplies, filing, opening and closing office. - Assist Facility Manager with other tasks. Requirements: - Drivers License and clean driving record - Forklift experience (at least one year) - General maintenance (at least one year) - Customer service experience - Flexibility: weekends, holidays, day & night shift - Storage facility and/or sales experience, knowledge of RVs/boats/trailers a plus
