Understanding anxiety and how to support your child. In this day and age it is hard to know if a child is dealing with normal life stress or anxiety. It is hard to know when you should push your child and when you should get them extra help. Amanda Heins, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who practices full-time at Rogers Behavioral Health’s Oconomowoc Campus. She will present on how to identify anxiety within children/adolescents, strategies that parents can use to help their child lean INTO their anxiety at home (and at school), and when to seek additional support.
