Warehouse Associate We are seeking a person to fill our Warehouse Associate Position. This a full time position. Business Operating Hours: Monday- Saturday Position will be Monday - Friday or rotate Tuesday - Saturday) 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Shifts may vary) Position Summary: This Warehouse Associate position handles product storage, coordination and distribution. This position works closely with all other departments supporting sales and working to always make the client's experience a positive one. Prospective candidates with experience in a warehouse setting are encouraged to apply. Warehouse and Inventory Associate Responsibilities: • Support efforts of the manager to ensure accurate product inventory for sales team • Communicate with Manager about current stock and potential issues with orders • Report on inventory activities and variances • Prepare orders to ensure it is ready for shipping, delivery or pick up • Receive special order and stock materials and assign locations in warehouse • Load orders in client's vehicles • Clean, maintain and keep orderly warehouse and yard Warehouse Associate Skills and Requirements: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. • 2+ years' experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures • Able to multi-task and work independently • Proven problem solving skills • Proven critical thinking and organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Working knowledge of Quick Books software required • Flexible disposition to meet the changing demands of the job. • Forklift certified (or eligible to train) • Ability to plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or from vendors as well as returns • Support manager to ensure proper maintenance of all equipment (forklifts, trucks, carts, etc.) and the physical upkeep of the warehouse. • Participates in all Company training programs (safety, etc.). • Maintains a healthy and cooperative relationship with all departments. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, heavier weights occasionally. • Have a clear Driving Record.
