Let's brighten up the community and raise awareness of cervical cancer at the same time! Bring your family & friends to tie teal ribbons! Have you ever seen a colored ribbon around a tree or light post, or around a sign in your neighborhood and wondered the significance? Curiosity will win and people will want to know why you are tying a teal ribbon around a light post. We need your help in sharing our mission and explaining that Cervical Cancer is preventable. No woman should ever die from cervical cancer! You can help us save lives. Make time to join us, it's free and simple! We'll even give you the spiel to share while you are out Painting the 'Ville. Diane Crawford survived cervical cancer in 2009 thanks to early detection and the quick work of her doctors. She founded The Crawford Crew (TCC) less than three months after being diagnosed. Now cancer free, Diane and The Crawford Crew are positively impacting the lives of others and are determined to make a difference.
