Purpose: Under minimal supervision, your primary responsibilities include: Work in a team oriented environment, perform all tasks in area of responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner to support the production system ensuring all aspects of the finished article is manufactured in accordance with approved quality systems requirements and certified as compliant to type design requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools. Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance of parts. Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts as required Operate machines or systems to crimp, cut, bend, form, bead, according to specifications. Minimum Qualifications: Able to commute to work location in Yonkers. High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication a plus.
