This is an opportunity for a self-motivated person to learn how to perform infrared inspections in the preventive maintenance inspection field. All training will be provided by the company, and you will earn regular hourly pay while learning. Tools and vehicle for traveling to and from job sites are provided. Construction knowledge or mechanical ability is helpful but not required. ABOUT US: Jersey Infrared Consultants have been providing infrared inspection services, specializing in commercial and industrial applications, for 37 years. Typically, we inspect electrical systems, flat roofs, building envelopes, and steam systems. Our work takes us to various types of facilities such as healthcare, education, manufacturing, office complexes, and government/military agencies. Most of our work is performed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York and Connecticut. Job requirements include the following: • Minimum age of 18, high school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver's license in good standing • Good eyesight - no color-blindness • Able to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to climb ladders • Effective communication skills with ability to read, write, and understand English • Willingness to work overtime hours on a regular basis, occasional overnight travel • Flexibility to work schedules and locations as required by clients • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing • COVID-19 vaccination Benefits include: Paid holidays, sick leave, vacation, health, life and disability insurance, and uniforms.
