Description
Daring Women welcomes you to this empowering presentation and discussion about mastering the art of receiving! Most of us learned the importance of giving at an early age. Two-year-olds are taught to share their toys, teenagers are reminded not to be selfish, adults are praised for giving away time and money. It’s no wonder we are hardwired to believe “It is better to give than to receive”. Yet, did you know that one of the most important (and least discussed) skills for life fulfillment and success is actually receiving? If we are unable to enjoy receiving, we can easily block ourselves from our good – in our finances, emotions and relationships. Healthy receiving increases our energy levels, our joy and helps create more balance in our lives. Join us for a lively presentation and discussion in which you will: • identify ways you unknowingly reject opportunities to be a receiver • gain understanding of where resentment, fatigue and burnout come from • learn simple but powerful habits that will increase your ability to receive About Sylvia Sylvia Theisen is a business and life coach, speaker and author.
