Interior Plant Maintenance Technician wanted for a full-time position with flexibility at a local Miami interior landscaping company. This position is primarily in Broward County, with some days on North Miami Beach. The amount of horticulture experience will be considered advantageous in the selection of the candidate. Candidate in addition will confirm and learn proper company procedures to care for indoor plants such as Palms, Dracaenas, Sansevieria, Ficus, Etc.. Candidate will be expected to cover accounts of other technicians should the need arise, and will be trained to service living walls/vertical gardens. Candidate will be expected to help maintain the nursery, and manage regrowing of older plant material. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable climbing ladders. Ability to drive larger vehicles such as a box truck is advantageous but not required. Must have a reliable working personal vehicle for use. Mileage is reimbursed for daily work use. Ability to work without direction is of high interest to our company, and the initiative to work without guidance is a plus. Ability to follow the direction of the Supervisor without rebuttal is a must. Looking for a laborer willing to move heavy plant material and install green designs in new spaces. Driving for long periods of time is expected when traveling between accounts.
