Family located in Palm Beach, FL(33480) is seeking an executive housekeeper. "Candidates must have at least five years’ experience in a formal home and accustomed to working alongside other staff (chef, nanny, etc.) Highly skilled, discreet, efficient, quiet personality required (I don’t want anyone who is a big presence or who wastes time yakking with other staff members). Native Spanish speakers are a huge plus. Must know how to drive. Job is full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm or even later. Flexibility to work longer hours and some weekends on occasion required. Must be willing to occasionally travel to the family’s second home up north in the summer. The Housekeeper is responsible for all aspects of household cleaning/organization, including, but not limited to: Deep clean: vacuum, mop, dust, polish, etc. Laundry and ironing (including on a rotary ironing machine) Specialized clothing care: steam, dry clean and hand wash Polish silverware, clean delicate china Proper care of high-end furnishings, delicate surfaces and objects of art Organize and maintain pantry and closets Develop, oversee, and adhere to strict organizational standards Set the table for family meals, lunches, and dinner parties Occasional table service at both formal and informal meals Assist with cocktail and dinner parties as needed Run errands and complete special requests Create household manuals, adhere to and oversee regular household cleaning and maintenance schedules Pack and unpack for travel Pet care (cat and dog) Oversee household vendors as needed" Start Date: ASAP Duration: Long-term (one year minimum commitment) Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week.
