DEC. 4/21 ~ 6PM Balzekas Museum Excellence Award Dinner Honoring His Excellency Gintaras Grušas, Archbishop Metropolitan of Vilnius The Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture is delighted to announce that on Saturday, December 4, 2021, the Museum's 2021 Excellence Award will be presented to His Excellency Gintaras Grušas, the Archbishop Metropolitan of Vilnius, the Apostolic Administrator of the Lithuanian Military Ordinariate, and the President of the Lithuanian Bishops’ Conference. He receives this honor for his outstanding leadership and dedication to the Lithuanian people and nation and for his prior work as a world Lithuanian youth leader in support of freedom and democracy for Lithuania. The Award of Excellence Dinner is an annual tradition at the Balzekas Museum. This year’s event is particularly significant as it coincides with the Museum’s 55th anniversary. The event will be held in the Amber Ballroom of the Balzekas Museum, 6500 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago IL 60629. Everyone is warmly invited to attend! Tables will be limited to 8 persons. Proof of vaccination will be required for all attendees.
