I have a 6 year old Rat terrier that my family rescued from a situation about a year ago. He is neutered and current on vaccines and flea protection. He needs a quiet home with a possible companion of his size. He's fine with older kids, cats and dogs. He does not like to be handled at all. Does not like to be picked up at all. If you sit he will sit next to you or be in your lap and that's what he likes most. He will sleep with me and likes to be under the covers. He is kennel trained. He likes his kennel which I feel is his safe place. He would be best in a home where he can have that constant companion. Preferably a retired person. He loves to walk and does great on a leash. He likes car rides, too. He doesn't mind his toe nails being trimmed. Only serious injuries please. There will be a rehoming fee.
