Launched in 2021, Emerald South's Terra Firma initiative is a 5-year, $25 million land care initiative to beautify, maintain, and activate over 205 acres of vacant land on Chicago’s mid-South Side. Terra Firma helps our communities recapture the value of their land for themselves! Join us Saturday, Oct 23rd, 2021 for a neighborhood bike ride with Black JoyRide! All are welcome! Pull Up: 11:30am Roll Out: 12:00am Witness Tree activity and food: 1:00pm Things to bring: bike, helmet, water. Dress warm! A limited number of Divvy bikes will be provided for those without bikes.
