FREE Did you know that African American women in the U.S. have a 41% higher death rate from breast cancer than white women? Join the Arthur Lockhart Resource Institute “Sister to Sister” Veteran Program as we host our 2K Breast Cancer Awareness Walk., Saturday, October 23, 2021 – 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. All are welcomed! Our Goal: recognize the strength of survivors, their family and friends, increase awareness among women and encourage early screening for detection. Everyone that registers will receive: *Official Sister to Sister Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirt, the Sister to Sister bag, Official participant walk number and all the great sponsor giveaways! We encourage everyone to celebrate and break out those pink wigs for best dressed Walker!
