Seeking a house cleaner for our vacation rental low usage cabins with interests to learn sled dog handler assistant for our dogsledding tour business all in one. Cleaning and daily chores for the sled dogs tour center and vacation rental cabins cleaned between guests. The position includes barn chores, preparing and feeding high energy sled dogs, light trail and yard work, dog yard maintenance, cleaning and sanitizing as is needed. Doing whatever is necessary! Additionally, dog loving/physically fit handler, the position will include assisting with year round guided tours December through March, light conditioning dogs training on the trail, handler with dog teams on sleds-on-wheels in warm weather, or sleds in Winter on snow. This is a great opportunity to internship with our incredible Un-Chained Gang team of Alaskan Huskies, to learn the ins and outs of the fascinating world of dogsledding with international sprint racing champions. Working within the guided tour business, possibly becoming an experienced musher for the right, athletic, dedicated and caring individual. Unique to the world of dogsledding, our 30 Celebrity friendly dogs live free-range, are never chained; this is an opportunity to stand for ethical, loving care for Sled Dogs. An incredible learning experience! Must be presentable, energetic, honest with a motivated, take charge attitude, show up 100% ready to work and enjoy engaging with the public. You must love dogs, willing to learn, and want to do this type of training for future work in exchange for low wage pay or internship. Part to full time; possible full time through the Winter tourist season. You will need to have reliable AWD/4WD for local commute to Eden Vt due to winter weather and road conditions, we need to depend on our very limited staff. Internship or possible service base wage depends on experience with added tips, preferably long term. Internship training has many possibilities. Volunteers are highly welcome assisting with dogsledding training runs when needed. Please inquire! Must be available weekends/ Holidays/ Vacation periods during our seasonal busy Winter tour based business. Experienced Mushers/ dogteam drivers are needed, experienced handlers also welcome. Please inquire with experience and your love of dogs interests. Due to my busy schedule - NO walk ins, you must make an appointment please and thank you.
