Established architectural metal fabrication firm seeking skilled metal craftspeople to join our team. We are seeking individuals with a skilled hand and a keen eye as our projects are often high-end detailed pieces such as sculptures, stair railing systems, fireplace surrounds and furniture. The candidate is expected to be able to read prints, effectively analyze builds, set up and operate saws, milling machines and lathes, as well as be able to tig (heliarc) weld. An understanding of metal finishing is a necessary component. A knowledge and ability to execute all aspects of a project is key to this position. Compensation is based upon experience but with a starting salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 per year. Benefits include paid time off and health insurance. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and CORI check are requirements for this Monday through Thursday, 7:30am-6pm, four day work week position. A welding test will be required during the interview process.
