Bassist Seeks Band

I'm an upright bassist seeking a rockabilly/surf cover band...or maybe even something heavier. After so many months in lockdown, I'm rusty, but seeking some kool kats to rock out with. I'm new to Bellingham and I'm open to joining an established band or starting a new one from scratch. I'm most comfortable with covers of rockabilly/surf greats (Stray Cats, Link Wray, Gene Vincent, maybe some psychobilly like the Cramps or the Meteors?) but have also rocked this upright on everything from Santana to Rage Against the Machine. Are you a guitarist, drummer, keyboardist, singer looking to get something like this started? Do you have a band already and looking for a laid back (but not too much so) upright bassist who can rock out on this beast of an instrument? Hit me up. Extra cool points if you're also a gamer or D&D player...or generally into sci-fi/fantasy stuff. :-)
