Marin Arts & Crafts Marin Arts & Crafts Show returns to the San Rafael Embassy Suites Ballrooms March 4-6. Inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 19th century the show brings together over 100 artists, artisans, and purveyors in a celebration of handcraft. Show goers can shop directly from the artists and artisans, and find products made with careful, meticulous detail, natural materials, and brilliant colors. Ranging from finely crafted jewelry, accessories, clothing, art and decor, to everyday items as beautiful to look at as they are useful. A series of small interactive workshops are on-going throughout the show and offer a chance to learn handcraft skills such as jewelry making, painting, and mixed media. Marin Arts & Crafts Show looks to capture some of the spirit and romance of a bygone era while bringing focus to the future of art & crafts and promoting the makers of today. The 3-day show encompasses all handcrafted media - jewelry, clothing, woodwork, ceramics, artwork, paper arts, specialty foods, antiquities, and objets d'art --designed and made by independent artisans, studio artists, and small production workshops. Come shop, take a workshop, mingle with like minded souls, and take in all the creativity! There is no charge for admission or parking, so come, relax, and stay all three days!
