December 3, 2021: "Louis, Louis! Meet us in Versailles!" New this season, 2021-2022, Desert Baroque celebrates its return with a series of "in-person - live" concerts in our permanent home, the Artists Center at the Galen in Palm Desert. Each concert features the harpsichord and companion instruments of the period and will be held on the First Friday of the month, December through March. A celebrity concert tops off the season on March 25, 2022. This first concert on Friday, Dec 3, 2021, will feature: Music for violas da gamba - Marylin Winkle, and for harpsichord - Margaret Irwin-Brandon; by Marin Maris, St. Colombe, d’Anglebert.
