A collaborative workshop to beautify and activate Hamiltons HS's main quad, a place for learning, socializing and self-care. WHEN + WHERE: Wednesday Oct. 20 @ 3:45-5:30 PM in Room 605. WHO: Hamilton H.S. Science department in collaboration with the Department of Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) WHAT: CPP landscape architecture students will be presenting design ideas that emerged out of the first workshop in September. Presentation will be on Zoom followed by a hands-on workshop involving sketching and collaging of ideas on scaled architectural drawings. WHY: This workshop will engage Hamilton students with the landscape design process while interacting with college students from CPP. We hope this becomes a long-term collaboration between CPP and Hamilton H.S. that could take the form of future workshops, field trips to Cal Poly Pomona to visit the College of Environmental Design, etc.  Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona
