Thirty-four years in the making, this lavishly illustrated educational “coffee-table” book has won a 2021 IBPA Silver Benjamin Franklin Award and was honored as a Finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. FOSSILS INSIDE OUT is written for anyone interested in the past, present, and future of life on Earth. Chapter 1 is devoted to the evolution of Tucson’s annual Gem, Mineral, & Fossil Showcase event. With a passion for science and art, Thomas has forged a career in natural history media and owns Wild Horizons Productions. He lives in Tucson, home of the world’s largest Gem, Mineral, & Fossil Showcase. The Pima County Historic Courthouse is among Tucson’s most beloved landmarks. Designed by architect Roy Place, this iconic Spanish Colonial Revival-styled structure was built in 1929 and remained in service for an 86-year span during which time it served as the backdrop for numerous wedding proceedings and became home to several County departments.
