Presentations on substance abuse, mental health, and the dangers of social media. National Drug Take Back Day Hi everyone, Douglas Unified School District, Douglas Police Department, Amistades, Inc., and National Guard, join efforts in this community event in which they invite all families to participate. The Parent/Youth Resource Forum will consist of : 1. Presentations on Substance Abuse, Mental Health, Snapchat (the dangers of social media), and information from behavioral health agencies. 2. Presentations will be given two times a day in two sessions. 3. National Drug Take Back Day across the street from Douglas High School, Douglas Police Department will be stationed at the Aquatic Center, ready to take and dispose of your unused, expired, unwanted medications. Types of medications that will be taken are prescription medication, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and more. (No questions asked!) Location of event: Douglas High School Auditorium and Douglas Aquatic Center Date: October 23, 2021 Time: 10:00AM - 12:30PM and 2:00PM - 4:30PM We encourage parents/guardians to attend accompanied by their youth, as there will be very important and useful information for everyone.
