If you are thinking about beekeeping, this introductory class will give you all the basic information you need to get started! If you are thinking about beekeeping, this introductory class will give you all the basic information you need to get started. We will cover basic bee biology, as well as how to start, maintain and care for your honeybee colony. This 2 hour workshop will be led by our experienced local beekeepers from Baxter's Apiary. This event is $30 per person. Lets pay our local beekeepers for their time and knowledge! Please pre-pay to reserve your spot! This event will take place at our farm -rain or shine. This workshop will be held outside at Bell Urban Farm. Please meet us in the backyard of the Farmstand at 1:00 sharp. Parking is limited at the store so please park in our overflow parking in the field next to 2001 Tyler Street and walk on back! Bring a folding chair if you have one!
