Come join KPB on a tour around Crescent Lake in downtown Saint Petersburg for a workshop on nature photography! Explore one of St. Petersburg most adored parks, Crescent Lake, through a new lense. Join us and our partners the Friends of Crescent Lake for a photography stroll and restoration project. This eco-tour will share insight into capturing that perfect nature shot, while offering an opportunity for you to help restore a shoreline habitat that is home to the wildlife you will see. Where: Crescent Lake, 1320 5th St. N. St. Petersburg, FL 33701 (Please meet in the parking lot of the St. Pete Tasco facility) When: November 6, 2021. Event registration at 8:30 am, event from 9am-11pm What to Wear: Clothes comfortable for walking around, hat, and comfortable shoes. Please note we will have a small restoration project after the tour, dress appropriate. What to Expect: Bring your more professional camera if you have one such as a Canon or Nikon DSLR. However, we will be exploring what you can capture using your smartphones with guided materials being provided day of. From the freshwater cattail plants that hug the lake shoreline to the Roseate Spoonbills hunting in the shallows! This event will explore the natural beauty of Crescent Lake from all angles!
