Upon receiving the invoices that the owner had saved and sent to us, we found that the 'companies' that the property manager used to perform the maintenance services did NOT exist in the state of Florida DBPR. We then compared their invoices to similar ones where work performed and/or items purchased and found that the prices charged to the owner exceeded those that we charged our owners by a factor of two or more.
