Description
Join us on Tuesday, November 2nd for BLVD Bike Rides to celebrate Mobility Week! BLVD Bike Rides is BACK! Join is for a special BLVD Bike Rides, hosted in partnership with the City of Sarasota, Sarasota County, Sarasota-Manatee MPO, Commute Connector, (others?) and DreamLarge! This free event is open to everyone in the community and aims to bring residents, neighbors and friends together to enjoy a fun bike ride in downtown Sarasota while experiencing the art history of Sarasota's local roundabouts. The ride will begin with a discussion about biking from work, mobility options and include guest speakers from the City of Sarasota, Commute Connector and more. We'll be ending our scenic ride with a stop at Mandeville Beer Garden (outdoors), a local brewhouse in the heart of the Rosemary District. We encourage everyone to stick around and meet your fellow bikers! Food and drink will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to social distance and come ready to ride with their favorite mask and helmet. A limited amount of free traditional and electric bike rentals will also be available to those that need them through a partnership with Endless Summer Eco Tours and Rentals.
